Time to get started!

Welcome to the hub for application materials. Scroll through the menus below to find the heading of the program you would like to apply for, and follow the easy, step-by-step downloadable instructions. Be sure you use the forms from the correct program, and if you’re not sure the titles of the documents themselves should match the program you’re applying for.

If you haven’t read the Overview or checked out the specific program you’re applying for (Teacher Training Recognition or Circus Arts Program Recognition)¬†please do so before starting your application.

There is no online application available at this time, but we’re working on it. Please do not fill out any forms by hand. All forms can be filled out on the computer and saved as new documents.

Due to the size of the applications, we recommend downloading the forms and working on them offline where you can save them without fear of losing your work.

Teacher Training Programs

  1. Download the ACE Teacher Training Program Guidelines
  2. Download and complete the Teacher Training Program General Application Form
  3. Download and complete the Self Assessment Form
  4. Download and handout Teacher Trainer Information Form
  5. Download and handout 5 (or more if you like) of Student Feedback Forms
  6. Use the checklist provided in the Application Form to gather the rest of the materials required
  7. Put all of the required forms and materials into a file sharing folder like Google Drive or Dropbox
  8. Send an email sharing a link to the folder to safety@americancircuseducators.org

Circus Arts Programs

If you are applying for multiple recognitions at the same time, please do not send in your application until all your materials are prepared.

No matter which recognition/s you’re applying for, follow these steps first:

  1. Download the Circus Arts Program Guidelines
  2. Download and complete the Circus Arts Program General Application Form
  3. Download and complete the Circus Arts Program Self Assessment Form
  4. Select the recognition you are applying for below and follow the additional instructions
  1. Use the checklist provided in the General Application Form to gather the rest of the materials required
  2. Put all of the required forms and materials into a file sharing folder like Google Drive or Dropbox
  3. Send an email sharing a link to the folder to safety@americancircuseducators.org
  1. Download and handout 5 Circus Arts Program Teacher Info Forms to key staff. More may be requested.
  2. Download and handout Circus Arts Program Student Feedback Forms based on the following:
    0-15 hrs of programming/week: 3 forms
    15-40 hrs of programming/week: 5 forms
    40-100 hrs of programming/week: 10 forms
    100+ hrs of programming/week: 15 forms
  3. Use the checklist provided in the General Application Form to gather the rest of the materials required
  4. Put all of the required forms and materials into a file sharing folder like Google Drive or Dropbox
