2021 Virtual American Circus Educators Conference
All sessions were RECORDED and recordings are available to registrants until the end of October! You can register and receive access until October 31st!
In the past, the ACE EdCon happened only every other year, but moving forward there will be an EdCon event every year! EdCon will alternate between an in-person conference and a virtual conference. Even years (2022, 2024) will be in-person at a different host venue each time. Odd years (2021, 2023) will be held online for maximum accessibility and convenience.

An exciting weekend of online learning and connection for circus educators! Get ready for virtual presentations, workshops, discussions, and social events that will inspire and reinvigorate!
The EdCon is priced on a sliding scale with the goal of accessibility to all:

|$30||If you are just meeting your costs of living (bills, rent, etc). (You may be unemployed, not working at all at any job.)|
|$50||If you are meeting your costs of living, but don’t have much extra. (You may be underemployed, working part-time at any job.)|
|$75||If you are comfortably meeting all of your costs of living. (You may be fully employed.)|
|$100||If you are comfortably meeting all your costs of living, and additionally able to contribute to savings, make donations to worthy causes, etc. (You are likely fully employed.)|
|$150||If you want to help others attend the conference in addition to your own ticket cost.|
Volunteers and presenters receive complimentary tickets to the entire event!

Attendees must be ACE (or AYCO) members in order to register, as membership supports our organization in fostering year-round connection for this special community. Professional membership is available on a sliding scale, $20-100. Find out more about membership and perks here. Earlybird registrants – those who registered before September 18th at 11:59pm Pacific Time will be receiving a special swag surprise in the mail (only available to US-located attendees).
Virtual EdCon 2021 is October 9-10th 2021, 12-8pm Eastern Time/ 11am-7pm Central Time/ 10am – 6pm Mountain Time/ 9am – 5pm Pacific Time.

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED IN ORDER TO SIGN UP FOR SESSIONS. Please note that access to sessions and Zoom links is not immediate after registering –invitations to Sched are sent within 24 hours of purchasing your ticket.
The 2021 virtual conference includes:
+ Presentations, panels, and workshops on topics relevant to circus educators: all sessions will be recorded and made available to attendees for the rest of the month!
+ Interactive social events & interest group meetings
Sessions happen over Zoom, via the Sched.com online system. To be able to sign up for sessions, after registration you will receive an email invitation to Sched. Sched invitations are sent within 24 hours of registration.

Volunteer Application – closed
Volunteers are expected to put in a minimum of 6 hours of volunteer work over the course of the event, and will in return be given a free virtual pass. Volunteer time will primarily consist of introducing and assisting presenters over Zoom, so a general tech-savviness is required.
ACE is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse conference, and would like to particularly invite BIPOC folks and those who hold other marginalized identities who might not otherwise have access to the conference to apply.

Banner Level: $50
Have your logo on the banner of the EdCon website! Attendees will see this whenever they navigate to Zoom events. You will also receive a thank you social media shoutout from ACE.
Swag Level (includes Banner): $150
Put your logo on a special swag item that will be sent to participants of the EdCon! Your logo will hold a physical place in today’s virtual world – you’ll be remembered for years to come. Logos may be edited to one color and approximately 1.25’’x1.25’’.
Room Name Level (includes Swag and Banner): $500
Have a Zoom Room named after you/your organization! The schedule and website will refer to a certain Zoom room as the “Your Organization” Room.
